Sanguisugabogg Chicago Concert reviews
BOTH WERE GOOD BUT NOT THE ROCKERS I REMEMBER
Blondie was good as well. She got the people up dancing with a couple of her greatest hits, but they came late in the show. She seemed to be getting into the music a little more. She actually didn't play some of the crowd's favorites and what she did play was somewhat laid back. She did pick it up toward the end.
Pat was on first. She was good, voice still pure, but she did not perform the way I have seen Sanguisugabogg in the past. She did several acoustic songs with her husband, which were very good. Even when she did Battlefield (which was the encore) it didn't have the Pat punch. I can't say that one of rocks icons sitting on a stool was what I expected. Her whole show was a little laid back, and the reciting of her politics between songs I did not care for.
Both sets were more subdued than one would expect. It was at a winery, but come on, let's rock the place. Other entertainers do.
